Library & Shop | Article - Award Applications |
"The most difficult aspect of winning awards is applying." We agree.
There is a knack to writing applications but perhaps most importantly, someone from outside the business has a much better perspective of the applicant organisation and what makes it special.
They are also better placed to express the achievements and to illustrate them with examples that would appeal to the judging panel.
For some awards a considerable amount of technical data is required. There then follows a considerable effort to bring the contributions into a consistent and coherent style that will catch the judge's eye.
